Plano Cares – June Sent Serving Day

June 11

On June 11, we will be volunteering with the Plano CARES program. Plano Code Abatement by Residents Engaged in Service (CARES) connects local volunteers to residents in need of assistance with common property code violations. While most residential violations are quickly resolved, those who are not able to correct violations because of physical or financial hardship may find assistance through Plano CARES.

On June 11 we will mobilize a team of volunteers to serve people in Plano through the Plano CARES program.

What we’ll be doing: Accessory building removal/repair, damaged fence removal/repair, minimal tree trimming, yard work, minor exterior home repair, trash removal.

Volunteers must be 18 years old to operate power tools. Youth must be supervised by an adult.

No children under the age of 13.

Volunteers must wear close-toed shoes and appropriate clothing such as jeans and t-shirts. No sandals/flip-flops. Bring your work gloves!
